Canadian Alumni Association for Goodenough College

The LGAC is an alumni association of Canadians who lived at Goodenough College in Mecklenburgh Square, London, the pre-eminent residence for international graduate students in London.

Scholarship Program

For over 20 years, the LGAC's main focus has been its Scholarship Program which offers residential Scholarships at Goodenough College to Canadian graduate students studying in London.The 2016-17 Scholarship Application process is now open with an application deadline of January 25, 2016. Annual General and Special Meeting (June 19), and Ottawa Social Event (June 20)

On behalf of the Board of Directors of the London Goodenough Association of Canada, I would like to invite you to our Annual General and a Special Meeting to be held on June 19, 2013 with guest speaker, the Director of Goodenough College, Major General Andrew Ritchie.

Our AGM business meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. in Room 341 of the Larkin Academic Building, part of Trinity College at the University of Toronto. The Gerald Larkin Academic Building (15 Devonshire Place) is located on the east side of Devonshire Place (between Bloor Street and Hoskin Avenue). Immediately afterwards, a reception, hosted by Trinity College’s Provost Andy Orchard, will take place in the Provost’s Lodge, his private residence. (Entrance from Hoskin Avenue).

The cost of the event (including all food and drink) will be $35.

At the AGM, members will be asked to elect the Board of Directors for 2013-2014. The members will also be asked to pass a special resolution approving the continuance of the Corporation and updates to the by-laws, as required by the Government of Canada.

Please join me and other members of the Board of Directors at our AGM to conduct the important business of the LGAC, and enjoy food, drink and friendship.

Please RSVP as soon as possible to Brian Cardie at admin@lgac.ca to assist us in determining the number of attendees and at the same time forward a cheque to him at the below address, to purchase tickets.

Ottawa Social Event

The next evening, (June 20, 2013) Major General Ritchie will be socializing with Ottawa area members at D'arcy McGee's Downtown Pub (44 Sparks Street at the corner of Elgin) between 5:30 and 7:30 pm. A cash bar will be available. Please advise Brian (admin@lgac.ca) if you plan to attend)
